This affection is detected by a routine general examination of the retina, OCT ( retinal scaniing) and/or by fluoresceïne angiography. In certain cases, laser treatments and anti VEGs ( anti vacular growth factor) intravitreal injections are necessary to stabilise the progression of the disease.
